U Trajců Restaurant is found at the place of a historical pub of the same name with a century-long tradition. It is just in the middle of the way from the Charles Square to the Vyšehrad Fortification, in the "Podskalí" quarter, where many historical sights and other places of interest are situated. There is a botanical garden and the Faculty of Natural Sciences' historical campus in the restaurant's neighbourhood. A medieval toll house with museum of Podskalí quarter's history is also close to the restaurant, as well as the Vyšehrad fortification, which is at 10 minutes walking distance.

The restaurant has been always known for its delicious beer and we continue this tradition. Beside famous Pilsner Urquell we serve Chodovar and Bakalář from smaller country breweries. Those who don't like beer can taste Kofola - unique Czech draught coke.

Every day, we open at 8 am and we can prepare a breakfast menu for you. At lunch-time we offer a lunch menu for advantageous price of 125 CZK, consisting of a soft drink, soup, main dish, salad bar and a dessert (the composition of our lunch menus are daily actualised on our web site). You can also choose from our menu card, offering a multitude of traditional Czech meals.

It is possible to book tables or even whole premises to organize any kind of social or corporate event, such as parties, banquets, business meetings. For such occassions, our team is ready to prepare a special menu according to your taste.
